So this one time I asked out a boy and nothing came of it. See my previous journal entry.
WELL AREN'T YOU IN FOR AN UPDATE.
I went back to the toy store the day before yesterday looking for a new pony that I figured would finally be there. I found the pony and was intent on merely buying the thing and getting out of there quickly, but my plans were intercepted.
As I neared the registers I spotted Soarin' from some distance away, who was also looking in my direction. I braced myself for the wave of awkward that I was sure would crash over me as I mentally recounted the events that had occurred over these past few days. I smiled and waved at him as he caught my eye, hoping to divert as much of the wave as possible, but to my surprise it never came. He made a motion for me to come over to him.
I figured he wanted to talk to me briefly about our last encounter, perhaps explain his situation a little more as he seemed rather unable to do so the last time, but as I finally approached him he simply looked me in the eye and requested my name.
"I wasn't being entirely honest with you the last time we talked," he said after we had exchanged titles, "... you see, I was ending a relationship at the time and knew that I needed to deal with unfinished business before starting anything else. The timing was bad, I suppose. I wanted to say yes to you so badly but I just didn't feel right about doing so whilst still technically being in a relationship with somebody else - even if it was already coming to a close."
I nodded, taken aback by the sudden turn of events that was unfolding before me.
"So," he continued slowly, his voice slightly shaky with nerves, "with that now dealt with completely... I was wondering if maybe you still wanted to go out sometime...?"

New Beginnings.
Okay serious journal entry time:
Yes. They are everywhere.
I just got hired at another tea shop, which should be interesting. For a while there I was sure they'd passed me by in the merciless world of hiring new employees, but alas. I was mistaken. Perhaps next time I shouldn't jump to such hasty conclusions, but at the same time I learned a very important and valuable lesson for life:
Always hope, but never expect.
I feel as though I'll be able to apply this rule to my life in the future and perhaps save myself a lot of grief down the road. Here's hoping, anyway.

I didn't feel overly connected with 'Featherbolt' as much as I tried to be... you know how that just happens sometimes?
I feel like a username with the word 'cloud' in it can apply to a much larger range of interests. I am obsessed with the sky, anything to do with wings or the dynamics of flight, I love partially cloudy days (just as long as they're warm), cloud-watching is one of my favourite past times (you know, trying to find shapes or dragons or whatever in those cumulus chunks that float by every once in a while), Rainbow Dash sleeps on clouds, I'm a total Final Fantasy VII nerd and I felt extremely clever when I came up with t
